Every year, the Pennsylvania Association of Student Councils (PASC) holds a statewide leadership convention. In 2026, PASC will be headed to Kingsley, PA, as Mountain View Jr. Sr. HS hosts the 90th PASC State Leadership Convention. The event consists of motivational speakers, student-led workshops, and leadership activities.

Keynote Speakers
Keith Hawkins grew up facing extreme challenges in a tough part of Los Angeles, where the odds were stacked against him from an early age. Rather than letting his circumstances define him, Keith turned adversity into purpose—using leadership and education as the foundation to find his voice, break unhealthy patterns, and build a life of impact. Today, he is an international speaker who reaches over 400,000 students, parents, educators, and leaders each year through powerful keynotes, workshops, and transformational programs. A co-author, featured communicator, and advocate for youth on global stages, Keith is driven by his faith and deeply grounded in family.

Adventurer John Beede has been struck by lighting, attacked by a 5-foot iguana,
and he once did the hokey-pokey in the eye of a hurricane. He’s been swimming
with Hammerhead, Great White, and Whale sharks. He was even trapped in the
Indonesian jungle between warring tribes and the world’s largest goldmine. His
travels have taken him to 56 countries and every continent including Antarctica.
Additionally, he has authored two books, including Climb On! Success Strategies for Teens and The Mini-Manual for Becoming
