Diversity & Inclusion

In 1681 the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania was founded as a place of tolerance. PASC honors that legacy today in our programming and interactions with our members, promoting leadership development for every type of student and adult. PASC welcomes all and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion or creed, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity), age, physical or mental disability, veteran status, genetic information, or citizenship, in addition to other characteristics.

PASC is proud to serve all of Pennsylvania and its diverse population. If you would like to contribute to our efforts of reaching underserved and disadvantaged populations, please consider donating below. Should you have any questions regarding PASC's diversity efforts, please email diversity@pasc.net.

PASC DIVERSITY STATEMENT

Below is PASC’s Diversity Statement of Principle, which outlines our commitment to equity and inclusion within our own organization and among student leadership organizations around the Commonwealth. This policy was approved by our Executive Board and is our official Diversity statement.

We value differences, knowing that the presence of students and advisors with diverse backgrounds and life experiences is an inherent strength for leadership training. We welcome an open exchange of ideas to promote that training.

We reject racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, and bigotry of all kinds.

We understand it is our responsibility to learn our own biases and grow as leaders.

We strive to create programming that is actively inclusive for all members, students and adults alike.

We commit to using these practices for our programming, our schools, and our communities.

Practice these values with us in fostering student leadership throughout the Commonwealth.
