The program focused on a highly successful year-long and multi-year effort created by the students, faculty, and administration at Lafayette High School in Missouri entitled FINISH STRONG.
The program initiated at the high school level, reached out to also involve their feeder middle schools and elementary schools. Lafayette High School is one of three high schools in the St. Joseph's School District. The are located on the northside of the city and thus you will see reference made to the Northside Schools. 80% of their students are on free or reduced cost lunches. At every phase of this ambitious program, the student leaders of the high school played a major role in its creation, planning and implementation. More detailed information as well as a power point, and publicity materials can be obtained by contacting Mrs. Terri Johnson at email@example.com.
