Elizabeth Williams, Pocono Mountain West HS senior, and Gardiner Kreglow, Bethlehem Liberty HS junior, have been named as the Student Member and Student Member-Elect of the State Board of Education. Elizabeth and Gardiner will attend their first meeting on September 17 and 18, representing the 1.8 million public school students of the Commonwealth. They will work closely with PASC in communicating on state educational issues with their constituents.
Elizabeth and Gardiner will be attending the PASC State Conference in November, will have articles in future issues of PASC NEWS, will report to the PASC Executive Board, and will develop surveys and other communicational links as they move forward in this unique opportunity of civic engagement.
